Guides to Tough Conversations

Guides to Tough Conversations

As a parent, you likely feel responsible to talk to your child about some really tough topics but may not know how or even when to begin. Issues like bullying, mental health, drugs and alcohol, their changing bodies, appropriate technology and difficult questions about faith can be tough to navigate. While the conversation will likely involve moments that are uncomfortable, sometimes the hardest part is just getting started.

These resources for tough topics are meant to guide your conversation, but you know your child better than anyone. Use these resources to make the most of the ongoing conversations with your child and to better understand them in the stage and phase they are in today.

See below for the topics of conversation.
