We get to know God through the scriptures and use the Bible as the foundation for our faith. As your child grows in their faith, you may have questions: What bible is best? How do I help them read and navigate the Bible at an age-appropriate level?

The way we talk about faith at each phase of a child’s life matters in how they’ll think about faith in the phases to come. In every phase, you can help your child develop an authentic faith.

Generosity is learning to trust God with what he entrusts to you. Jesus talks about the intentional giving away of our money and our resources as something that’s tied directly to our hearts. (Matthew 6:19-21)

Prayer teaches children to pause and quiet themselves for a moment. To simply be in the presence of God remembering they are wrapped up in the arms of the one who loves them more than they can even know or understand.

Why did Jesus come to earth? Did He come to heal? Did He come to teach people? Did He come to perform super-awesome miracles that drew big crowds? Jesus did all of those things, but they weren’t the main reason He came to earth. Jesus came to give His life, to save and deliver us.
